I sit at the intersection of construction operations and technology — and I build the bridge between them.

I came up through the field. 20+ years in residential homebuilding — from production communities to $15M luxury custom homes — managing schedules, trades, quality, and budgets on the ground before moving into estimating and operations leadership. I know what good construction looks like because I've built it, inspected it, and fixed it when it wasn't right.

That foundation is what makes the technology side work. I incorporate job management systems like JobTread, Buildertrend, and Procore, build integrations between estimating and accounting platforms, and create the connective tissue that turns disconnected workflows into something teams can actually rely on. When the existing tools fall short, I build what's missing — like a real-time estimation platform that replaced a 4–6 week manual pricing cycle and is now used daily by Sales, Construction, and Estimating.

The result is tighter build cycles and better construction quality — not one or the other. Better data means fewer field errors, cleaner scopes, and trades that show up knowing exactly what's expected.

Now I'm pushing further into AI-driven automation and LLM integrations — not as experiments, but as production tools that give small teams the output of much larger ones.

Pricing & Estimating Bottlenecks

Manual pricing processes that take weeks, cost accuracy issues, estimating workflows that don't talk to each other. I connect the tools teams already use, fill the gaps with targeted automation, and build what's missing — compressing 4–6 week cycles to real-time and giving leadership live visibility into margins and cost structures.

Construction Quality & Build Cycle Times

Punch lists that never end, trades working off outdated scopes, and builds that drag past schedule. I've managed up to 63 concurrent builds and know that quality and speed aren't at odds — they both come from cleaner scopes, tighter coordination, and catching problems before they hit the field. Better systems upstream mean fewer callbacks downstream.

Operational Disconnects

When estimating, purchasing, construction, and sales operate in silos, money leaks and timelines slip. I serve as the operational bridge — aligning cross-functional teams and building the tools that keep everyone working from the same data.

Scaling Without Headcount

Small teams doing the work of large ones. I integrate job management platforms, layer in automations, and build targeted tools that multiply team capacity — not by adding people, but by eliminating the manual work that buries them.

Vendor & Trade Partner Management

Negotiating and managing pricing across wide trade partner networks, maintaining cost code discipline, and ensuring the numbers in the estimate match the numbers in the field.

Legacy Systems & Manual Workflows

Excel spreadsheets masquerading as enterprise systems. I identify where manual processes are costing real money and bridge the gaps — connecting existing platforms where possible, and building purpose-built tools where needed that teams actually want to use.
